Shiva Nata Roundtable #2

Tell Us About Your First Time.

In what circumstances did you initially practice Shiva Nata? How long did you try to keep up with the teacher? Were there any mental or physical effects? What were they? How long did they last? Can you compare it to any other experiences you’ve had in your life? What about the experience motivated you to flail again?

How the Roundtable Works

Write a response to the prompt on your blog. Consider the prompt as a place to start, not a command. You are free to adapt the question to your experiences or respond in any way you like. If you have a post you’ve already written that addresses the question, use that!

In your post, link back to this page, so readers can browse participating blogs. Adding a link in these comments also helps.

If you don’t have a blog, use the Comments to share your thoughts.

My first time, or actually my first week-or-so (including the actual experience of opening Andrey Lappa’s Dance of Shiva DVD) is documented here:

On rereading it, I realize that I kinda went on and on and on… but I used a lot of headings, to aid in skimming over the rambly parts that might not be interesting to everyone. :P
