A meeting place for people who are nuts about Shiva Nata, ShivaNuts Unite offers two ways to discuss Andrey Lappa’s Dance of Shiva. As such a young practice, Shiva Nata can sometimes feel isolating, but there is a global community seeking to exchange experiences and thoughts.
Expeditions: Spend 40 days exploring different aspects of your practice. Larisa and Casey are your hosts on these journeys – to the beyond and back.
Roundtables: After roaming the wilderness, gather with other ShivaNuts to reflect on an aspect of your journey. Kali coordinates these occasional mindmelds.
These two processes – experimenting and analyzing – work together to deepen your experience and understanding of Shiva Nata’s role in your life.
Meet the ShivaNuts!
Larisa teaches Shiva Nata and Self-Care. In her non-working time, you will find her in the forest, listening to the trees and animals, and being true to her Magical-Woodland-Creature-self.

Casey used to break websites (QA Detective) for a living, but is now headed down a different path: becoming a teacher to share the wonder of Shiva Nata with fellow stroke patients.
Kalyani started dancing with Shiva just before her 40th birthday, and it is now her mission to spread this life-changing practice as widely as possible. Flailing her arms and legs with wild abandon has made her a better thinker, writer, mom, and friend.
so nice to find you. i have sent for my starter kit from havi brooks playground. best wishes
